Mirage - Zion I

Zion I & II document a road trip that I took eight years ago, where I explored Zion National Park, thus beginning my enrapturement with the park’s majestic mountains and heavenly light. These paintings strive to capture Zion’s otherworldly essence, made all the grander through my adolescent awe.  -Julia Hess
