What I Do
Graphic Design
Logos, menus, flyers, business cards — the print and marketing pieces that make a shop feel put together. If you run a shop, inn, or restaurant, this is usually where we start: a menu that fits your brand, seasonal signage, or business cards that don’t look like they were printed in five minutes. For homeowners, it’s usually a smaller, one-off favor — a card, an invite, a flyer for something you’re running yourself.
3D Rendering
Mockups and walkthroughs that let you see something before it exists. For homeowners and contractors, that’s usually a renovation — walk through a kitchen or addition before a single wall comes down. For shops, it’s a mockup of a new sign, menu board, or product display, so you’re not guessing what it’ll look like once it’s up.
3D Printing
Prototypes and custom parts, printed to spec. For homeowners and contractors, that’s often a hard-to-find bracket, knob, or replacement part for an older house where the original manufacturer doesn’t exist anymore. For shops, it’s a display fixture, a stand, or a quick physical mockup before committing to a bigger production run.
Laser Cutting
Signs, engraving, and gifts, cut from wood, acrylic, and more. For shops and inns, this is usually a hand-built sign or nameplate designed to match your storefront’s character, not something off a shelf. For anyone else, it’s gifts, décor, or a one-off custom piece.
Web Design
Simple sites and landing pages, built start to finish — a clean one-pager for a shop, or a small project site for a homeowner. Bigger builds are designed by me and developed with trusted help, so the scope can grow without stretching past what I can deliver solo. (This page, actually, is a decent example of what comes out of that process.)
How I Work
No fixed process — but it usually goes something like this:

Of the space, the item, or just the idea in your head.
We talk it through
In person if you’re local, or by phone or email if that’s easier.
I mock it up
A 3D render, design proof, or quick prototype — so you see it before we commit to the real thing.
I build it
Designed, modeled, printed, cut, or coded — whatever the project actually calls for.
A Bit About The Guy Behind This
I’m Christian Kowalchuk. I work out of a studio down by the river in Lambertville, NJ. Before this, I spent over a decade in the advertising industry building 3D worlds and ad campaigns for national brands. These days that same toolkit along with some new ones — laser cutting, 3D printing — gets pointed at smaller, closer-to-home problems: a sign for a shop, a part for a house, a site for a small business.

I don’t have a design yet — can you still help?
Yes. Most projects start with a rough idea, not a finished file. Send what you have and we’ll figure out the rest together.
Do you only work with local shops?
No — the river towns are the focus, but I also take on remote design and web work. Local just means I can hand-deliver and install in person.
What if my project is small?
Good. Small is easier to say yes to. One-off prototypes and quick jobs are welcome.
